The people that make up Huge Bear wines are passionate about wine and making every customers’ experience positive and enjoyable.
Tim Carl is Managing Director and co-founder of Huge Bear Wines. He comes from a 6th generation California farming family, and can trace his grape-growing roots back over 150 years.
Under the guidance of world-class winemakers, such as Jeff Ames and Douglas Danielak, Assistant Winemaker Meredith Cahill-Marsland has carved out her own unique niche at Huge Bear. Meredith embraces and embodies the fresh face of California winemaking, with a loving nod to the past and its heritage, and one eye (at least) focused on the future and the latest methods of creating distinctive wines you will not find anywhere else.
There are many other people that make Huge Bear what it is today: all the co-founding partners, Jim Bailey, Tom Costin, and Essel Bailey; Charlene Ragatz our Office Manager extraordinaire; our near superhuman Sales Manager Chris Drake; our tireless Controller Donovan Hudson; all the wonderful folks at Firefly Creative and Benson Marketing, all the winery and vineyard staff, and of course each of you, who are the reason we all strive to make each vintage of Huge Bear wine special.
